Jeddah Indian Islahi Center was founded more
than two and a half decades back by a few
dedicated Islahi workers from Kerala, India.
The primary objective of the Center is to
follow and propagate the true message of
Islam among the expatriate Muslim community
in Jeddah. Treading the footsteps of the
Salafs for understanding and practicing
Qura'n and Sunnah, the Center has been
functioning during the past years. With the
blessings of Almighty Allah, the Center's
activities have been effective to an
appreciable extent.
Most of the expatriate Muslims living in
Jeddah hail from Malabar where the evil
influence of priests has been successful in
misleading Muslims from the true path of
Touhid. The long arms of priesthood has been
exercising its evil influence in Jeddah too,
through the job seeking Muslims reaching in
Jeddah. Most of those who hail from south
Kerala are deprived of even the basic
religious education. Under such
circumstances the activities of Islahi
Centers in Saudi Arabia and gulf countries
are quite relevant and effective in wiping
out the evils of Shirk.
It is to be gratefully remembered here that
the Center's activities are whole heartedly
supported by the Saudi government machinery
for propagation of Islam such as Islamic
Propagation and Guidance Centers.
As per the constitution, the organizational
affiliation of this Center is with Kerala
Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM). This close
association with KNM has indeed helped
Islahi centers in the Arab countries to
adhere unambiguously, to the methodology of
the Salafs for understanding and propagating
Islam.
